Dear friends and patients,
If you have been a patient at the Marion Gluck Clinic for a while, then you may have noticed that there have been a lot of changes in the past 2 years. I know that many of us don’t like changes but at times they are inevitable.
The biggest change and challenge for the clinic and myself was that I stopped seeing patients. I wanted to continue working, of course, but most of all I wanted to spend my time promoting the benefits of bio-identical hormones for people’s lives. This is a mission I have had for over 25 years and there was more work to be done.
My main step to further this mission over the past two years was to set up a training academy for doctors and nurses, to educate them about bio-identical hormones and the impact that a more holistic approach can have on endocrine disorders. By providing them with training and support, myself and my team are enabling these doctors to further satisfy the demand for better understanding and treatment of hormonal conditions. I wanted to spread the word not only to patients but also amongst doctors and nurses, as it is only by offering this cutting-edge treatment more widely that we can provide everyone with a solution to their hormone concerns.
I have also spent time writing my second book, which I have been working on for over a year and is now in its last stages of editing. It is called “It Not My Head, It’s My Hormones” and is the follow up to my debut book “It Must Be My Hormones”, through which I examine the impact that hormones have on our mental health. Writing my second book has been a thoroughly enjoyable process, and researching scientific papers to prove the point I am trying to make was a very positive and enlightening experience. I learnt a lot while writing “It’s Not My Head, It’s My Hormones’, particularly developing an even deeper understanding of how our environment and lifestyle affects our hormones. This process has served to further solidify my view that hormones really do rule so much of our lives and that is why a healthy and well-balanced endocrine system is essential.
The Marion Gluck Clinic now has a wonderful team of doctors who are all committed to the health of their patients. They are all brilliant doctors in their own rights and have their own expertise in practising medicine, offering our patients a great deal of choice and knowledge during their treatment. Whilst each doctor is different, they all believe in the power and success of bio-identical hormones and specialise in treating hormonal conditions with bespoke medicine.
I would like to assure you all that although I have ‘retired’ from seeing patients I remain very much involved in the clinic and the patient care. I am at the Marion Gluck Clinic often and it’s always a pleasure when I catch up with some of you in between your consultations.
I wish you all good health, happiness and a lovely summer.
