Dr. Joseph Novoa Libermann is a GMC-registered medical doctor with more than 14 years of experience spanning hospital medicine, research, and aesthetic practice. His work focuses on the connection between hormonal balance, skin health, and overall wellbeing, helping both men and women look, feel, and perform at their best — naturally.
After training in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) at the Marion Gluck Clinic in 2019, Dr. Joseph combined this expertise with his background in aesthetic and regenerative medicine. He previously worked at Discover Laser Clinic in Burnley—winner of the Aesthetic Award for Best Clinic of the Year (2017)—where he refined his approach to achieving healthy, radiant skin through subtle, natural enhancement.
Before specialising in aesthetics and hormone therapy, Dr. Joseph spent seven years in the NHS, including as an A&E doctor at Whiston Hospital and within psychiatric training. This experience sharpened his diagnostic precision and deepened his ability to listen empathetically and understand each patient as a whole person. His calm, thorough approach helps patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their care.
An evidence-based practitioner, Dr. Joseph leads a clinical study on the Bridging Technique, an innovative dermal-filler method designed to produce natural results with minimal product use. He also serves as a Professor of Physiology (distance teaching) at the University of New Anglia, contributing to the education of future medical professionals and research into human physiology and regenerative medicine.
In addition to his work with women’s hormonal health, Dr. Joseph has a strong interest in men’s health, focusing on hormone optimisation, vitality, and sexual wellbeing.
