Dr Amélie Seghers is a board-certified consultant dermatologist (MD, MSc, MRCP(UK), CCT (derm). She completed her Medical Degree in Belgium and holds an additional Master of Science in Clinical Dermatology from King’s College University London. She subsequently trained and worked for over 10 years in general/internal medicine and dermatology in Belgium (Gasthuisberg, VUB, Middelheim), London (St John’s Institute of dermatology, St Georges Hospital, Royal Free Hospital), Singapore (National Skin Centre, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital) and Switzerland (CHUV).
Dr Amélie is passionate about bioidentical hormone therapy and completed her training with the Marion Gluck Training Academy.
During her clinical career, she came to realise that for a lot of the common conditions patients suffer from, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. She thinks it is crucial for patients to be in charge of their own body and care in order to achieve optimal health. She empowers patients to be their own health advocate and is passionate about guiding them along this process.
In addition to her work at the Marion Gluck Clinic, she also does consultant work in the dermatology services of Guys’ & St Thomas’ hospital and St Georges Hospital (NHS) as well as skin cancer screening and removal at The Mole Clinic.
